During one of our (frequent) classroom karaoke sessions:
Student: “Miss Emily, you’re pretty good! You should take singing lessons– you have some real natural talent there!”
Me: “Aw thanks, Kiddo! That’s so sweet!”
Student: “Right but like I said– take lessons.”
