We called the parent of the child who was late because “my mom was doing my hair.” We politely suggested that this was an unacceptable reason to be 2 hours late to school (this child is chronically late).
Mom had a good defense, though:
“Well it was mostly because I was doing her hair, yes. But it was also her issue of time management. She slept in late by accident.”
Well maybe you could wake her up? She’s 9.
Also you are very bad at doing hair.
