Eric and I just arrived in Chicago for a 4-night stay. Upon landing…

Eric: “I’m going to text my mom and let her know we landed.”

Me: “Ok.”

Eric: “Did you text your mom?”

Me: “No.”

Eric: “Are you going to?” 

Me: “Ummm…”

Eric: “She has no idea you’re going to Chicago, huh?”

Me: “That is correct.”

Well now she does.
